Nathan Touchberry

Nathan is an Associate Financial Planner at Elwood & Goetz, where he helps develop comprehensive financial plans and supports clients across every aspect of their financial lives. Before joining the firm, Nathan spent two years with Mercer Advisors, helping clients implement recommendations, organize their finances, and better understand the decisions arising from advisory meetings. He finds particular meaning in conversations surrounding legacy planning—whether helping clients carry out their estate plans or assisting families as they settle the affairs of a loved one.

Nathan is passionate about guiding clients through important financial decisions with clarity and care. He strives not only to help clients identify the best path forward, but also to ensure they understand the reasoning behind each recommendation and feel confident in the choices they make.

Originally from Dublin, Georgia, Nathan moved to Atlanta to attend Georgia Tech, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. During college, he was actively involved in church life and campus ministries and welcomed nearly any opportunity to spend time outdoors or with friends.

Nathan’s interests are as varied as they are hands-on. Over the years, he has taken up running, rock climbing, and soccer, along with programming, electronics, and mechanics—interests that eventually led him to build his own motorized bicycle. He is drawn to the similar breadth and depth of financial planning, where intellectual curiosity, practical problem-solving, and the opportunity to help others come together. For Nathan, that combination makes financial planning far more than a profession; it makes the work genuinely rewarding.

Since graduating from Georgia Tech, Nathan has married his wife, welcomed their first child, adopted two cats, joined Gospel Hope Church, and moved more times than he would have preferred. He and his wife look forward to growing their family and, with any luck, remaining inside the Perimeter.
