Matthew Muñoz, M.S.

Matthew Muñoz is an Associate Financial Planner with Elwood & Goetz. Matthew works closely with his financial planning team to elevate client service, assist in the development of comprehensive financial plans, monitor investments, and provide ongoing strategic guidance. His passion for empowering clients through sound financial decision-making seamlessly aligns with E&G’s client-first approach, commitment to comprehensive planning, and dedication to personalized, responsive service. He is eager to build lasting client relationships and make a meaningful impact on their financial futures.

Demonstrating exceptional dedication and ambition, Matthew earned both a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the prestigious Terry College of Business and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Financial Planning from the College of Family and Consumer Sciences—one of the nation’s top-ranked financial planning programs—all within an impressive 4.5-year span at The University of Georgia.

During his time at UGA, Matthew actively contributed to the university chapter of the Financial Planning Association. He also gained valuable work experience at SignatureFD and at Vanguard, a leading national investment management firm. His diverse background in the financial advisory space reflects his steadfast commitment to academic excellence and hands-on learning, making him a tremendous asset to the Elwood & Goetz team.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Matthew leads an active lifestyle, engaging in weightlifting, soccer, and pickleball. He cherishes quality time with his family, friends, girlfriend, and faith community at Victory World Church. An avid traveler, he has explored five Latin American countries, including his family’s homeland of Colombia, and looks forward to expanding his global experiences, creating lifelong memories with loved ones around the world.
