Josh serves as an Associate Financial Planner at Elwood & Goetz Wealth Advisory Group, where he is committed to helping individuals and families make thoughtful financial decisions with confidence and clarity. A graduate of the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business, Josh earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, graduating summa cum laude in recognition of his exceptional academic achievement.
Josh previously gained valuable industry experience with Morgan Stanley and Cannon Financial Strategists, where he was exposed to a broad range of investment and financial planning philosophies and strategies. Those experiences strengthened his appreciation for comprehensive, client-centered financial advice and ultimately led him to pursue a career with Elwood & Goetz, where the firm's independent, fee-only fiduciary approach closely aligned with his own values and vision for serving clients.
Committed to continuous learning and professional excellence, Josh has earned the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 licenses. He has also completed the CFP® education curriculum through the Boston Institute of Finance and is currently working toward earning the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification. He is passionate about continually expanding his knowledge and being a trusted advisor who helps clients build lasting financial confidence and peace of mind.
Outside of the office, Josh is actively involved at Athens Church, where he leads small groups for both college and high school students. He enjoys an active lifestyle that includes golf, pickleball, tennis, and running, and he has a passion for travel and exploring the outdoors. His adventures have taken him to destinations including Australia, New Zealand, Italy, and Switzerland. Whether perfecting a new card trick for friends and family or cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs each fall, Josh brings enthusiasm, curiosity, and a spirit of lifelong learning to every aspect of life.
