Since joining Elwood & Goetz in 2020, Emily has held various pivotal roles, ultimately rising to her current dual position as a financial planner and compliance specialist. In this capacity, she not only leads client relationships with care and precision but also supports the planning teams responsible for executing Elwood & Goetz's comprehensive financial strategies. Emily co-develops tailored financial plans, oversees the implementation of sophisticated investment strategies, and manages the firm's internal compliance program to ensure the highest standards are upheld.
Emily finds great fulfillment in building meaningful connections with her clients, guiding them on their path to financial well-being, and she considers it a privilege to be a trusted partner in their financial journey.
A summa cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia, Emily earned her degree in financial planning. While at UGA, she held an executive leadership role in the university chapter of the Financial Planning Association and served as a financial counselor at UGA's ASPIRE Clinic, providing pro bono financial counseling services. Additionally, she contributed to the VITA program, offering no-cost tax preparation for low-income families in the Athens area.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Emily cherishes time with her family, enjoys reading, and is passionate about exploring the outdoors.
