Aniston Hanley

Aniston Hanley serves as an Associate Financial Planner at Elwood & Goetz Wealth Advisory Group, where she is passionate about helping clients gain confidence, clarity, and organization in their financial lives. She believes meaningful financial planning extends beyond numbers, building lasting relationships while helping clients make informed decisions aligned with their goals, values, and vision for the future.

Originally from Hartwell, Georgia, Aniston earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Financial Planning from the University of Georgia, completing her master’s degree at just 21 years old. Her academic accomplishments reflect an early commitment to excellence and a strong dedication to the financial planning profession.

While at UGA, Aniston served as a Site Coordinator for the University’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, overseeing free tax preparation services for members of the community. Through this experience, she developed a deep appreciation for client service, financial education, and the meaningful impact thoughtful advice can have on individuals and families.

Aniston was actively involved in several campus organizations, including the Student Financial Planning Association, Sports Business Club, Athens Student Investor Club, and the Rural Student Ambassador Program. These experiences broadened her understanding of financial planning and strengthened her interests in retirement planning, tax strategies, estate planning, and helping clients navigate important financial decisions with confidence.

Outside the office, Aniston enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, exploring Athens, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs. She is excited to continue building her career in Athens—a community that has become home and one she is proud to serve.
